Falling in love with you

True love

Did you fight so bad that you thought days were end
Did you cry so hard that the rains stopped pouring
Did you miss someone so bad that your heart stopped beating?

Did you wake up to a never ending void
Did you anticipate a bad omen in the middle of sunshine
Did you hear the wind whispering someone’s name?
Did you listen to the rings of the phone that didn’t ring

Did you see little red hearts instead of the stars
Did you see rainbow in the rains?
Did you sleep with someone to wake up to a dead pillow
Did you feel the shoulder caressing when you were down

Did you cry in happiness?
No?
Then you are not in love.

Debut Drizzles

Why was I so restive today?
Why was I so keen?
Was it the elusiveness of tomorrow?
Or the man who lives across the lane?
Was it my soul that’s searching still
Some kind of resolution, I do not quite know
I slept off pensive groping for the light
An earthy smell woke me up to the usual evening
The drizzles soaking earth and the dying sun
A rendezvous much imminent
The evening wasn’t normal
The first rains of the season never is
The fatigue quenched soon to the geometric rains
The patterns seen and coveted
And an evening laced with ecstasy
Soon it would bring in serenity.

You are my world

One Word Most Cliched yet Most Empowering: Friendship

You have offered
Some cadaveric moments
Absorbing into purple ashes
Of some do not exist kinda state
And then a skyful of ecstasy
Some absolute, honest bliss
And, I, a reborn gold phoenix of spring,
Offer you my gratitude.
You have given me friends.
